Make a Chenille effect cushion

Learn to make your own Chenille fabric with fascinating results and learn the skills required to make a cushion.

You will need to bring your own Sewing machine and accessories and materials for this workshop including:

• 5 fat quarters (can be bought at Silken Threads)
• Similar size piece of fabric for the back of the cover (more fabric will be needed if the cover is to be piped
• 2 reels of sewing machine cotton
• Zip or 2 buttons
• Small sharp scissors (embroidery scissors are a bit too small)
• Basic sewing kitv
• Optional - piping or fringing

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided but there will be a lunch break so do bring along a snack to eat.
The course runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm
